Emergency Food Pantry
In 2015 alone 4,181 individuals experiencing a food crisis were helped at the Muskegon Salvation Army Food Pantry
The Salvation Army Emergency Food Pantry is here to serve any Muskegon County household experiencing a food emergency. It opens Monday –Friday beginning at 12:30 pm, and closes at 2:45 pm on Mondays and 3:45 Tues through Fri. No appointment is needed, but a sign in sheet is provided for client convenience. Families experiencing a food emergency can access the pantry as emergencies arise between 1 and 12 times within a year based on income and circumstance. Budgeting classes are also offered to assist the client in stretching future resources and help maintain self-sustainability going forward.
